I don’t know why people are freaked out by spiders.  Spiders just kinda hang around and do their thing.  Wasps?  They have seriously reasonable reasons for creating panic inducing trauma.  I fucking HATE wasps!  ~ Steve

FUCK WASPS

Oh god my worst ever fear. A resounding FUCK WASPS from me also.

Seriously, fuck them. One summer, my parents always wanted to eat dinner outside, and there would always be wasps hovering around the food. And they weren’t attracted to the sugary fruit, like watermelon and shit. They went for the plate with steaks and other meat. They wanted flesh and blood. And I had a bad experience with wasps when I was younger, so whenever a wasp started hovering around, I would just not move and hope that it would leave me alone. And my dad would get annoyed at me for it. I can’t fucking help it if I’m afraid of them. And it’s not a phobia, because being afraid of wasps is perfectly rational.

Urg, I NEVER eat outside for this reason. I remember actually having a picnic once with my parents and it wasn’t until I was actually literally weeping in terror that they agreed to pack it up and leave.

People don’t get irrational fear at all unless they have it. I know the worst a wasp can do is sting me. It hurts, but it’s not the end of the world. I know that logically. But when I see a wasp I’m filled with uncontrollable hysterical terror that doesn’t leave any room for rational thought. All I want to do is get away.
